MY EXPERIENCE
Scoping opportunities have included work for official reporters as well as freelancers. The nature of this work has ranged from simple to highly technical medical and scientific cases.
Besides regular civil and criminal trial work, I have scoped capital murder trials, patent infringement cases, hearings, arbitrations, and depositions as well as medical malpractice, construction defect, and workers' compensation cases.
MY BACKGROUND
Having worked as a technical writer for more than 25 years, scoping allows me to bring together all the skills I have gained in the areas of document creation, research, legal and medical transcription, grant writing, and word processing as well as project management and scheduling.
I have a bachelor's degree in computer science (emphasis in technical writing). As a bonus, my husband is an IT manager, so I have live-in tech support!
